Happy New Year! Welcome to part 3 of my December holiday nail art design compilation. This post is a little late because I was moving in early January. All of these have been made with a mix of freehand and stamping - I hope you enjoy them and spread some lovely festive and winter cheer, regardless of what you celebrate. Check out part 1 and 2 with the first 20 designs here and here.
21. Presents
This look was made using Polished for Days Ghost Host and Aisling (index and pinky), Painted Polish's Stamped in Slate, Polished for Days Pumpkin Patch for the stamping, and images from Born Pretty Store's Celebration BPX-L013 stamping plate. The presents were colored in using reverse stamping.
22. Melting Ice Tips
My melting ice tips design was one of my favorites from this past month - it was super classy in person! This was also a design that I did for the STEAM Nails Collab. Polishes used include Heroine NYC's Peek-A-Blue (base), Polished for Days Serein, WakeMake's Extreme White, and Painted Polish's Stamped in Slate.
23. Nail Tape Christmas Tree
For this minimal Christmas Tree, I used Polished for Days Clover (the tree), Heroine NYC's Lemonade (the star), and WakeMake's Extreme White. The tree was super easy to make using nail tape!
24. Jumping Reindeer
I personally had mixed feelings about this mani, but decided to share it anyways. On my index and pinky is Cadillacquer's Inhale, and on the middle and ring fingers is WakeMake's Linen Pink. The jumping reindeer were stamped with Born Pretty Store's stamping plate Celebration BPX-L013 and stamping polish Dark Armor. Blue dots were added using Polished for Days Serein.
25. Dotticure Christmas Tree

This dotticure Christmas tree was inspired by @redheadnails! The color on my index and pinky is Polished for Days Mysa, and most of the tree was done using Polished for Days Clover and Vadon. A super simple but cute look!
26. Holly

Freehand holly nails! For this look, I used Heroine NYC's Between the Sheets for the base behind the holly berries, and Polished for Days Ruska on my index and pinky.
27. Christmas Presents
This Christmas present look was inspired by
@nailsuponatime! The presents were drawn using Painted Polish's Sage Advice and WakeMake's French Burgundy, and the burgundy color was reused for the hearts design on my ring and pinky. The ribbons were drawn using Cupcake Polish's Nut'n Better and Polished for Days Caligo.
28. Snowflakes
Another one of my favorite designs from this set! This look was made using just two colors - Heroine NYC's Peek-A-Blue and Polished for Days Caligo. The polishes doubled as bases and stamping polishes! Snowflakes taken from Born Pretty Store's stamping plate BPX-L013.
29. Pink Snowflake Skittle
This was another mani I had mixed feelings about. I stamped a snowflake design using Born Pretty Store's winter stamping plate BP-01 and Painted Polish's Stamped in Slate, but the design just ended up looking like flowers (which I made worse by adding dots to the middle, oops). The creme base on all four nails was Heroine NYC's Between the Sheets.
30. Fireworks
My freehand firework nails in lieu of the new year spirit! These nails were a simple look done using two colors - Heroine NYC's Between the Sheets for the base, and Glam Polish's Snakes...Why Did It Have To Be Snakes? for the fireworks and base on the index and pinky. A sparkly, holo look for NYE!
31. New Year 2021❤️
Last up in my December looks is an NYE hearts look, in hopes of 2021 being a year of love. The designs were all freehanded using either Polished for Days Orchid Glow (multichrome) or Heroine NYC's Between the Sheets (creme, which I also used in the last 3 designs, oops). Happy New Year, friends!
Which design was your favorite? Let me know, and thank you so much for reading! Stay tuned for more blog updates with some of my past PPU, Black Friday, and box purchases😉
XOXO,
Lauren
