Weekly Mani Recap: Aug-4 2020

Hello! It's crazy to think that it's already the last couple days of August. The summer certainly flew by, but I'm excited to be starting my senior year of college later this week! Now, for some mani recaps. The first look is a simple accent nail mani using Glam Polish's Dragon Heart, a mauve crelly with red-orange-green multichrome flakes, shimmer, and holographic glitters, and Deco Miami's Nip Slip, a nude creme that is often featured in my looks. I stamped a side french tip following flower chain using Painted Polish's Midnight Mischief and a plate from Pueen Cosmetics's nail art stamp collection set 25F.  Next up is a flower patterned mani using Pahlish's Tangled Tinsel, a teal base with holographic glitters and aurora microflakes. Again, the flowers were stamped using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and a plate from Pueen Cosmetics's nail art stamp collection set 25F. The center of each flower was dotted on using Masura's Dragon Heart (a d

Hello! It's crazy to think it's already almost September. This week, I have 3 nail art looks and 1 swatch to share. The first look is a sweet strawberry design using Painted Polish Strawberry Supernova, a strawberry pink crelly with holographic microglitters, as a base. I used Painted Polish Mr. Burgundy to draw the strawberry and heart and Emily de Molly LE 182 for the leaves.  Next up is a swatch of Inhale by Cadillacquer, a gorgeous light pink crelly with aqua glitters and microflakes. This polish is so unique - I've never seen anything else like it! I switched up my pink trend by moving over to a teal and green look! I did a drag marble accent mani using Sandor is a Whole Mood by Great Lakes Lacquer, a grey crelly with red and orange shimmer and iridescent flakes, and Different Dimension Dream Come True, a dark teal polish with reddish-purple shimmer. For my other nails, I also used Different Dimension Topaz in a Bottle, aptly named for its super sparkly look, holograp

4 simple looks this weeks! Let's get right to it :) First up is a swatch of Mercury by Different Dimension. This is a lovely light grey crelly with a stunning red shimmer. The formula is so smooth and opaque - I was impressed with how it didn't streak (considering the light colors) and well the opacity built up. Plus, the shimmer is gorgeous in all lighting! I then did a planet nail art design with Mercury as a base. My inspiration came from the many planets that exist outside of our solar system, and the many moons that each planet can have. I didn't like this design much at first, but the more I see it the more I like it. Next up is a simple ~ornate~ design using Picture Polish Ornate, a medium reddish-purple polish with holographic microglitters and gold and pink hex glitters. For the stamped nails, I used Deco Miami's Nip Slip, a wonderful creme nude, as the base and stamped using a plate form Pueen Cosmetics Nail Art Stamp Collection Set 25F and Painted Polish Mid

Hello! A bit of a late update, but here are my manis from the first week of August. The first is a freehand kite mani I did using Deco Miami Nip Slip, my current favorite light nude creme, as a base. The kites were drawn using Fair Maiden Polish 2017 Doorbuster, a sparkly holographic dark blue, on a silicon mat and then placed on top of my mani base like decals. The kite strings were drawn using a dotting tool and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief. Next up is another free-hand mani, this time with a dragonfly and abstract dot design. I used Girly Bits Cosmetics Prototype 3279, a periwinkle blue creme with soft silver shimmer, for the base and Great Lakes Lacquer Sandor is a Whole Mood, a light silver with red and gold shimmer and iridescent flakes, for the wings and dots. The body and remaining dots were done using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.  My only swatch post this week was of Glam Polish Snakes...Why Did It Have To Be Snakes? from their latest Totally 80's collection. 7 looks to showcase this week! Let's get right to it. My first look was a purple base snakeskin mani that I did for the Rainbow Nails Challenge animal print + shimmer prompt. I used Ella Mila's Please Me, an icy lilac creme, paired with a stamped pattern using a Pueen Cosmetics plate and Painted Polish's Midnight Mischief. The black stamped design was topped with Girly Bits Cosmetic's Street Magic for a gorgeous green-orange shifting topper that looks magical (pun intended) over black.  Next is a swatch of Stunning Sunset from Jior Couture's Beach Vibes trio. This is a a blue jelly (light thermal) base with blue to purple shifting microglitters.  Next up is an abstract dotticure design done using Emily de Molly's Flexible Morality, a medium brown-mauve base with green to pink shifting shimmer, and a dark blue holographic Girly Bits Cosmetics prototype. Next up was an old mani that I dug up for the Rainbow Nails Challenge creme + gradient prompt. This look featur
