Weekly Mani Recap: Aug-3 2020

 Hello! It's crazy to think it's already almost September. This week, I have 3 nail art looks and 1 swatch to share.

The first look is a sweet strawberry design using Painted Polish Strawberry Supernova, a strawberry pink crelly with holographic microglitters, as a base. I used Painted Polish Mr. Burgundy to draw the strawberry and heart and Emily de Molly LE 182 for the leaves. 

Next up is a swatch of Inhale by Cadillacquer, a gorgeous light pink crelly with aqua glitters and microflakes. This polish is so unique - I've never seen anything else like it!

I switched up my pink trend by moving over to a teal and green look! I did a drag marble accent mani using Sandor is a Whole Mood by Great Lakes Lacquer, a grey crelly with red and orange shimmer and iridescent flakes, and Different Dimension Dream Come True, a dark teal polish with reddish-purple shimmer. For my other nails, I also used Different Dimension Topaz in a Bottle, aptly named for its super sparkly look, holographic finish, and turquoise color. 

Last up is a slightly subtle, slightly abstract snake-eye mani. I used Glam Polish Snakes...Why did it have to be Snakes? as a base (swatched in a previous post) and A-England the Beggar Maid, an olive-grey holographic polish, for the snake skin. Dotted black eyes (snake eyes in dice!) with Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Polished for Days: Sweater Weather Collection

 Hi loves! It's been a while since I posted a collection review, so I'm here today with my thoughts, swatches, and nail art of the Polished for Days Sweater Weather Collection. The collection came out last November for Black Friday, but it's still available on the PFD website! If you're on the fence about buying any of them, I hope this blog post can help you make a decision :) As always, official descriptions of polishes are taken off of the brand's website. I bought this collection with my own money, and all thoughts are my own. Let's get to it! Flannel First up is Flannel, a gorgeous holiday red. Painted Polish: Pumpkin Spice & Chill Trio

 Hello hello! Last fall, I purchased the Pumpkin Spice & Chill trio from Painted Polish, but I didn't get around to swatching and wearing it until now. I know it's a bit late for fall-themed and fall colored manicures to be in season, but I hope you enjoy these looks anyways! As far as I'm aware, this trio is sold out on Painted Polish's website, but maybe this post will help if you decide to snag one or two of these in a destash! Descriptions of each polish were taken from Painted Polish's website/Instagram. Pumpkin Spice 4 Life First up in the trio is Pumpkin Spice 4 Life. Pumpkin Spice 4 Life is described as a delicate pumpkin spice holo with crushed gold flakes and a scattering of holographic glitters. The formula on the polish was easy to work with. Charity Box Collab: Art Glass for Autism (April)

In this post, I'll be sharing swatches and nail art of the Jen & Berries April Charity Box collab polish. The inspiration theme for this month's Charity Box was art glass, and proceeds will go to a charity that benefits Autism support/awareness. P.S.
