Weekly Mani Recap: Sept-5 2020

Image
Happy October loves! Today I'll be sharing my manis from the last week of September/first few days of October that we saw last week.  Many of my looks were already shown in my review of the September For the Love of Polish Box , so I only have 1 mani to show you this week! Let's get right to it. I have an apple-based design using a mix of creme and sparkly holographic polishes. My bases used Mauve Brown by WakeMake, a beige nude creme, and Snakes...Why Did It Have To Be Snakes? by Glam Polish, a brown holographic with multichrome flakes. I stamped apples using an image from Pueen Cosmetic's Nail art stamping collection set 25F, Painted Polish's Autumn Twilight 2.0, a dark eggplant purple stamping creme, and Rosy Brown by WakeMake, a brick red-brown creme. I have a few subtle scattered holographic light green dots on the middle nail, which were done using Sage Advice by Painted Polish, a light green with holographic microglitters.    Have a great start to your month! XO

For the Love of Polish Box: September 2020

Hello hello! I recently made my first ever polish box purchase with the September For the Love of Polish (FTLOP) box! This was a super exciting moment for me, so of course I couldn't resist swatching and doing a couple nail art designs with these polishes. FTLOP's September theme was the Great British Bakeoff, and the guest maker was Rogue Lacquer.  Swatches First up is Star Baker by Pahlish. This is described as a bright pink jelly with a mix of iridescent flakes and shimmers, platinum silver flakes, and scattered holo flakes. The polish is super jam packed with flakes, and the color is nice and bright. I used 3 coats to achieve full opacity, and the formula leaned a bit more on the thick side.    Next is Nobody Likes a Soggy Bottom by Rogue Lacquer. This is described as a minty green holo with blue, magenta, and purple UCC flakes. The blue flakes are definitely the strongest and most prominent, but that might also be an effect of the other two flakes having blue-leaning hues
