Weekly Mani Recap: Sept-4 2020

Happy last week of September! It's crazy to think that it's already the end of September. Time for another mani recap! First up is an owl mani, done completely using dotting tools (and standard polish brushes). The base, or the owl's main color, is a nutty brown holographic - Nut'n Better by Cupcake Polish. I used WakeMake's Extreme White for the body, Rosy Brown for the talons and beak, Linen Pink for the eye outline, and Painted Polish's Autumn Twilight 2.0 for the eyes and dotted patterns. Super fun, and inspired by a post I saw on Pinterest!     Next is a simple dandelion stamping mani using a mix of Painted Polish Stamped in Scales, a teal blue stamping creme, and Stamped in Denim, a denim/darker cornflower blue stamping creme. The base is Cadillacquer's Inhale, a gorgeous light pink crelly with aqua microglitters and green metallic flakes. Stamped using Pueen Cosmetics's nail art stamping collection set 25F.   For a slightly more muted look, I cre

Hello hello! A new week, a new mani recap. Let's get right to it. First up is a simple plaid accent mani using WakeMake's Rosy Brown, a brick red creme, and Mauve Brown, a beige creme. I used striping tape and dark purple acrylic paint for the stripes on the accent nail. Not my best work, and you can tell my freehand is really shaky. Room to improve! I used water decals for the first time in a while! For my second look, we have a dark greyscale feather mani using black feather decals that I got on Amazon years ago, and Stamped in Slate, a light slate grey stamping creme, by Painted Polish for my base.  For a coffee-inspired look, I did a dry marble using to mimic latte art. I used Mauve Brown and Extreme White by WakeMake, and Nut'n Better by Cupcake Polish - great for that nutty brown holographic pop! Finally, I have a mermaid inspired stamping mani using Painted Polish Stamped in Scales, a teal/aqua blue stamping creme, Seaside Soiree, a blue-leaning teal with holographi

Happy mid-September! My school semester has been flying by, and it's crazy to think we're already halfway through September. I have a lot of looks from this past week to share, so let's get to it! My first three manis this week are all leaf themed, but colored with different seasons! First up is a fall-themed negative space mani using Nut'n Better by Cupcake Polish, a nutty brown holographic polish perfect for the fall, and leaf nail art stickers from Born Pretty Store.  Next up is a winter-themed stamped mani using Baby It's Cold Outside by Glam Polish, a pinkish taupe polish with red aurora shimmer and holographic microglitters, as a base. I stamped using a leaf image from Pueen Cosmetics's nail art stamping set 25F and two stamping polishes from Painted Polish - Stamped in Slate, a chalky grey stamping polish, and Autumn Twilight 2.0, a dark eggplant stamping polish. I think the darker, more muted colors definitely make the mani have a more wintery feeling!

Hello, and happy September! It's crazy to think that the first week of September has already passed, time really does fly by. This week, I have 4 nail art designs to share, as well as a new hand pose. I hope you enjoy them! First up is a purple abstract look stamped using Autumn Twilight 2.0, a dark eggplant stamping creme, by Painted Polish and a Pueen Cosmetics stamping plate from their nail art stamp collection set 25F. The bases are Bust a Mauve by Painted Polish, a dusty light purple crelly with gold, green, and blue multichrome flakes, and Elena by Cadillacquer, a dark eggplant purple linear holographic polish.    Next is a snail mani that was also stamped using an image from the Pueen Cosmetics stamping plate collection set. The snails were stamped using Stamped in Slate by Painted Polish, a light grey stamping creme, over Come One Come All by Different Dimension, a steel blue crelly with iridescent flakes and holographic glitters.    For a back-to-school mani prompt, I tri
