Weekly Mani Recap: Sept-3 2020
Hello hello! A new week, a new mani recap. Let's get right to it.
First up is a simple plaid accent mani using WakeMake's Rosy Brown, a brick red creme, and Mauve Brown, a beige creme. I used striping tape and dark purple acrylic paint for the stripes on the accent nail. Not my best work, and you can tell my freehand is really shaky. Room to improve!
I used water decals for the first time in a while! For my second look, we have a dark greyscale feather mani using black feather decals that I got on Amazon years ago, and Stamped in Slate, a light slate grey stamping creme, by Painted Polish for my base.
For a coffee-inspired look, I did a dry marble using to mimic latte art. I used Mauve Brown and Extreme White by WakeMake, and Nut'n Better by Cupcake Polish - great for that nutty brown holographic pop!
Finally, I have a mermaid inspired stamping mani using Painted Polish Stamped in Scales, a teal/aqua blue stamping creme, Seaside Soiree, a blue-leaning teal with holographic microglitters, and Liquid Luck by Glam Polish, an ivory white crelly with gold flakes and subtle shimmer. The design was stamped using a stamping plate from Pueen Cosmetics's nail art stamping collection set 25F. The colors went super well together, and it gives me ocean mermaid vibes.
Thanks for reading!
XOXO,
Lauren
