Weekly Mani Recap: July-3 2020

Happy last week of July! 
Today I have 2 swatches and 4 nail art designs that I posted this past week to share. 


My first was a swatch of Picture Polish Posey (now discontinued). Posey is a soft baby pink creme with silver holographic microglitters and circle glitters. 

My second look was a nail art look using the Posey swatch as a base. I stamped a floral design using WhatsUpNails's stamping plate A001 Majestic Flowers and Painted Polish by Lexi's Midnight Mischief. 

Next up is a swatch of Blush Lacquers Talise Tempest, which I snagged from a mystery polish sale on Color4Nails. This is a lovely blue polish with a soft blue-green-purple shimmer.

Using the Talise Tempest base, I did a simple side french look using Moo Moo Signatures Cinnamon Sun, a yellow ochre, golden holographic shade. The side french was done using WhatsUpNails french tip tape. 

Next up is one of my favorite nail art designs ever! Using Masura's Lavender in Somerset (1077) and Cadillacquer's Choose to be Happy (my favorite polish at the moment!) as bases, I created a white dandelion design with the help of Born Pretty Store flower stickers and WhatsUpNails X-pattern stencil leftovers. The stencil leftovers were perfect for having an exact single chevron, and the white flowers complimented the red-orange flakes from Choose to be Happy well. 
Lavender in Somerset is a soft light lavender color with holographic microshimmer, while Choose to be Happy is a mauve-purple polish with flakes and a soft red-orange shimmer. 


Finally, I have a simple stamped design again using the WhatsUpNails A001 Majestic Flowers plate. The base is a dusty pink holographic prototype polish from Girly Bits Cosmetics (#3225) and I stamped the circle string design using Colors By Llarowe Burning Down the House, a deep burgundy holographic polish that came out a little lighter when used as a stamping color.

Polished for Days: Sweater Weather Collection

 Hi loves! It's been a while since I posted a collection review, so I'm here today with my thoughts, swatches, and nail art of the Polished for Days Sweater Weather Collection. The collection came out last November for Black Friday, but it's still available on the PFD website! If you're on the fence about buying any of them, I hope this blog post can help you make a decision :) As always, official descriptions of polishes are taken off of the brand's website. I bought this collection with my own money, and all thoughts are my own. Let's get to it! Flannel First up is Flannel, a gorgeous holiday red. Painted Polish: Pumpkin Spice & Chill Trio

 Hello hello! Last fall, I purchased the Pumpkin Spice & Chill trio from Painted Polish, but I didn't get around to swatching and wearing it until now. I know it's a bit late for fall-themed and fall colored manicures to be in season, but I hope you enjoy these looks anyways! As far as I'm aware, this trio is sold out on Painted Polish's website, but maybe this post will help if you decide to snag one or two of these in a destash! Descriptions of each polish were taken from Painted Polish's website/Instagram. Pumpkin Spice 4 Life First up in the trio is Pumpkin Spice 4 Life. Pumpkin Spice 4 Life is described as a delicate pumpkin spice holo with crushed gold flakes and a scattering of holographic glitters. The formula on the polish was easy to work with. Charity Box Collab: Art Glass for Autism (April)

In this post, I'll be sharing swatches and nail art of the Jen & Berries April Charity Box collab polish. The inspiration theme for this month's Charity Box was art glass, and proceeds will go to a charity that benefits Autism support/awareness. P.S.
