Weekly Mani Recap: July-4 2020
7 looks to showcase this week! Let's get right to it.
My first look was a purple base snakeskin mani that I did for the Rainbow Nails Challenge animal print + shimmer prompt. I used Ella Mila's Please Me, an icy lilac creme, paired with a stamped pattern using a Pueen Cosmetics plate and Painted Polish's Midnight Mischief. The black stamped design was topped with Girly Bits Cosmetic's Street Magic for a gorgeous green-orange shifting topper that looks magical (pun intended) over black.
Next is a swatch of Stunning Sunset from Jior Couture's Beach Vibes trio. This is a a blue jelly (light thermal) base with blue to purple shifting microglitters.
Next up is an abstract dotticure design done using Emily de Molly's Flexible Morality, a medium brown-mauve base with green to pink shifting shimmer, and a dark blue holographic Girly Bits Cosmetics prototype.

Next up was an old mani that I dug up for the Rainbow Nails Challenge creme + gradient prompt. This look features Color Club New Bohemian, a light turquoise creme, and OPI Is Mai Tai Crooked, an orange creme, patterned over WhatsUpNails diamond stencils.
Using Cirque Colors Stoneware, a pale peach with copper microglitter specks, and Different Dimensions Stars Shining Bright, a sparkling metallic gold holographic (my favorite gold holo at the moment!), as bases, I stamped an abstract pattern using Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and plate Decoration plate L001 from Born Pretty Store.
Next up is a swatch of Winter Sky by Cadillacquer, a light grey crelly with iridescent chameleon flakes and subtle holographic shimmer. The formula for this one was so smooth, and the color appears slightly lighter in real life.
Finally, I had a dry brush mani using Different Dimensions Others Who Broke My Heart They Were Like Northern Stars, a champagne/light ivory linear holographic polish with silver holographic microflakes, as a base. The colors I dry brushed on top were a Girly Bits Cosmetics prototype, a teal crelly with gold microglitters, and Lollipop Posse Lacquer's the Clocks were Striking Thirteen, a bronze/gold base with green iridescent and holographic flakes.
Happy August now!
XOXO,
Lauren
